…I am trying to figure out when the last time was that I posted a track on SC and it wasn’t immediately liked by the SCBlaster pack. I don’t even recall. I guess I’ve gotten so used to them. I always thought that SC was the initiator of these early birds often accommodated by the classic fake users with no tracks and 3 followers.

General Problems with DJ TOP 100 Lists

It’s based on EDM Ticket Sales which reflects how well the Artist is marketed by the label; not artistical talent.

DJMAG data is not suitable as an unbiased resource !

I would have probably expected a few more candidates from the Duchess neighbors to the South East since:

Germany has over 80 Mil residents, 4 times the population of Holland and had the Love Parade for 2 decades until 2010. The Love Parade,  one of the most famous Rave events of the year which originated in Berlin in 1989 and has been going on for decades until 2010 where 1.4 Mil people attended. Small map below showing path from cologne to Amsterdam, only 2 1/2 hours.

One last time …

How Spinnin’ recycles Network Traffic:

Spinnin’ Records maintains and rotates a fairly large pool of dutch artists through the Top 100 DJ spots.

Spinnin’ engages in traffic recycling techniques which they use on all their artists. They like to co-brand their  new artists with their more prominent Top 4 artists such as Tiesto, Garrix, Hardwell, Vegas & Mike and arrange for collaborations exclusively within their own artists in order to reuse, recycle and focus their fan traffic only on in-house  Spinnin’  signed artists.

As seen in the screenshot below.  Artist participation can often be voluntary as long as the name is in the title, we good. Who cares, right?

P.S. This Blog goes well with Chardonnay.
